France - Ecole de Florentin - Armstrong (Claude Nougaro)
Here is the French song for schoolovision 2012 ! Claude Nougaro was born in the South of France, in Toulouse (80 km from our village), and he was one of the first white french singers to sing blues. He sung this song in homage to Louis Armstrong. Each year, many French pupils learn and sing this song. We love it very much and we hope you'll love it too !

Ukraine- Carpathians
We are extremely happy to present our project to all schoolovisioners! Our pupils of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades sing the song "Carpathians". We have chosen this song as it best describes our beautiful land and has the rhythm of Bukovinian national dancing. The dancing was choreographed by our primary school teacher Natalia Podorozhna.
In the chorus of our song it says, "I have wings because I am growing in the Carpathians where the eagle flies. I have blue eyes because in Ukraine the skies, the nights and the water are blue. I have golden hair like wheat because Ukrainian autumn is golden. I have a ringing voice because I am a Ukrainian girl. I feel sorry for those who don't like me":)
Best wishes to all participants!

Malta - A Maltese Medley
The feast of St. Peter and St. Paul on June 29th, known as “L-Imnarja” marks an important event among Maltese popular festivities. “L-Imnarja” comes from the Italian word “luminaria” meaning “Festival of Light.” This recalls the illumination of the Mdina cathedral, the city walls of the Mdina old capital as a sign of rejoicing. In olden days, husbands committed themselves to taking their wives to this feast. An agricultural show of animals, vegetables, fruit, poultry and honey are held. Horse-racing competitions are still popular.

Italy- Il Ballo di Pinocchio
Hello everybody,
Pinocchio is coming in your schools!! The Italian students had a great time recording the video and the parents helped me to prepare the costumes. I hope you will enjoy this video and you'll start to sing... PI..PInocchio .. night and day ... like I do.
Pinocchio is a fictional character and the main protagonist of the 1883 children's novel The Adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi (real name Carlo Lorenzini)an Italian writer. Since the author was Italian and the adventures take place in Italy, Pinocchio is closely related to the tradition of our country.
